Application of HPMC in Self-compacting Concrete
November 27th 20241. Putty (Skim coating)
In the whole coating process, the important role of putty is:
a. Eliminate the surface defects of the coating base and improve the flatness of the base
b. Plays a bonding transition role between the base layer and the coating film
As the three levels of the painting process: the wall, the putty layer and the coating film of the paint, due to the different deformation coefficients when the ambient temperature changes, the deformation size is also very different. This will inevitably lead to stress concentration. At this time, the putty layer in the three layers of painting should undertake the task of eliminating stress concentration by virtue of its own elasticity, so as to resist the cracking of the base layer and effectively prevent the wall from peeling and peeling off. .
Without putty, only high-grade, high-quality latex paint can not achieve a good wall decoration effect. Only by using high-quality putty at the same time to lay the foundation is the most important.
2. Tile Adhesive (C T A)
Compared with other wall and floor decoration materials, ceramic tile has unparalleled advantages, so it is widely used. With the expansion of ceramic tile applications and the development of ceramic tile manufacturing technology, the quality of ceramic tiles has been greatly improved.
Then there are polymer-modified tile adhesive materials, which use polymers to bond to the substrate without voids, and at the same time can permanently improve the quality of tile adhesives, and meet the requirements of modern buildings for adhesives to the greatest extent.
The appropriate combination of inorganic cementitious material (cement) and organic cementitious material (redispersible latex powder) makes the tile adhesive have a wide range of applications, including marble, granite, vitrified tiles and other difficult-to-stick materials. Provides reliable bonding and improves the quality and durability of the bonding project. Contains dispersible polymer powders to improve the bonding properties, flexibility, workability, wettability, sag resistance, open time and settling time of cement-based tile adhesives.
3. Decorative mortars
Traditional decorative mortar is a rather ancient interior and exterior wall plastering and decoration material. The product is mainly composed of inorganic natural materials such as cement, sand, lime, gypsum, calcium powder and clay.
Traditional decorative mortar has a long history and is widely used, but because traditional decorative mortar is a pure inorganic material mainly based on cement, there must be problems such as low tensile strength and poor elasticity inherent in cement-based materials, which are prone to shrinkage cracks. In order to overcome these defects, the users of traditional decorative mortar incorporate materials such as fibers and colloids in the material, in order to improve the crack resistance and workability of the decorative mortar.
Decorative mortar containing dispersible polymer powder has better crack resistance, durability, compatibility, adhesion and workability in practical applications. It can effectively prevent and reduce the temperature deformation of the thermal insulation system, and effectively eliminate the micro-cracks on the surface of the thermal insulation system. So that the insulation system does not need to be repainted during its use.
