The product is a non-ionic cellulose ether in the shape of white powder, odorless and tasteless. In cold water, it swells into a clear or slightly turbid colloidal solution. It has thickening, adhesion, dispersion, emulsification, film-formation, suspension, gelation, surface activity, water retention, providing protective colloids and other properties. Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) can be used in building materials, synthetic resin, ceramic industry, medicine, food, textile, agriculture, daily chemicals and other industries.
HPMC is Construction / Industrial grade cellulose ether mainly used as water retention agent, possessing thickening, binding, dispersing, emulsifying, film coating, suspending, absorbing, gelling, surface activity in construction industry & any others industries as following: 1. Wall putty, White cement based putty, skim coat 2. Cement based tile adhesive, joint mortar 3. Self leveling compounds, Gypsum compounds 4. Cement and concrete products 5. Ceramic, Dry mix formulation 6. Powder paints 7. Cosmetics, Textile, agriculture etc. 8. Water proofing After adding HPMC, the following properties can be improved: Water retention: HPMC is an efficient insurance agent, has a wide range of applications in ceramics, building materials and many other aspects. Adhesion: HPMC as a high-performance adhesives, applied paint, paper, tobacco products and ceramic products. Anti-slip: Because of its thickening effect, they are able to prevent the construction materials to be bonded mortar and broken phenomenon appears. After the adding our product can effectively avoid the slippage, cracking, and other problem.
